For over 50 years we've trained some of Peterborough's best hairdressers — and we're always looking for the next enthusiastic creative to join us, whether you're just starting out or already established.
Education
Working closely with Heart of England Training, we offer our apprentices the very best in NVQ training — taught by people who are still hairdressers themselves.
Our teachers aren't just teachers
We have four qualified assessors in NVQ Level 2 and two assessors qualified in NVQ Level 3 — all of whom still maintain busy columns within the salon. That means students learn the latest techniques and tips from teachers who are still actively hairdressing, not just teaching from a textbook.
The apprenticeship path
- Two-year, full-time NVQ Level 2 apprenticeship — one day of formal training alongside four days of work-based learning within the salon.
- Learn on a busy column — training happens alongside real clients, taught by assessors who are working stylists themselves.
- Progress to NVQ Level 3 — once accepted onto an employment contract, you can choose to continue your hairdressing education further.
